A Home beyond Treatment
The HCI Haven of Hope Home is a survivor-led safe space dedicated to adolescents, young adults, and childhood cancer survivors who need psychosocial support, stability, and healing during and after cancer treatment.
More than a shelter, Haven of Hope is a transition home — supporting young people as they move from hospital-based care into survivorship, adulthood, and independent living.

Why Fund Survivorship?
Childhood cancer does not end when treatment ends. Survivorship is a critical phase where adolescents and young adults face unique challenges:
- Late effects of treatment: Many survivors experience ongoing health issues that require support and monitoring.
- Mental and emotional wellness: Trauma, anxiety, and grief are common and need dedicated psychosocial care.
- Transition to adulthood: Education, career, identity, and social reintegration are often disrupted.
- Isolation and lack of age-appropriate support: AYAs are frequently overlooked between pediatric and adult services.
By funding survivorship, you help provide safe spaces, mentorship, psychosocial care, and life skills programs that empower young people to thrive beyond cancer. Your support ensures they live well, rebuild confidence, and reclaim purpose, turning survival into a life of hope and opportunity.
