A Haven of Hope

For families traveling from outside Nairobi in search of cancer treatment, the journey can be overwhelming—not just medically, but also logistically and financially. At Hope & Courage International, we respond to this need through our homestay program: A Haven of Hope.

A Haven of Hope provides temporary, safe, and nurturing accommodation for children undergoing treatment and their caregivers who have no place to stay in the city. More than just shelter, it’s a space of comfort, dignity, and compassion.

Through this program, we offer:

• Free or subsidized housing near treatment centers
• A home-like environment to rest and recover in between medical appointments
• Nutritious meals, hygiene supplies, and emotional support to ease the burden of care

At HCI, we believe every child deserves not only access to treatment—but also a safe place to lay their head, surrounded by love and understanding.
