Patient Support

PATIENT SUPPORT

At Hope & Courage International (HCI), we understand that the cancer journey is not just physical—it deeply affects the emotional, mental, and social well-being of patients and their families. That’s why our Patient Support program is designed to walk alongside young warriors and their caregivers every step of the way.

We offer both psychosocial support and practical assistance to help patients access the care they need and to ease the burden of treatment.

Psychosocial Support

We know that healing goes beyond medicine. Our psychosocial support includes:

  • Running caregivers’ support groups to provide a safe space for sharing, healing, and encouragement
  • Organizing home and hospital visits to offer companionship and care
  • Providing food, clothing, and other basic essentials to patients and families in need

Access to Treatment

We collaborate with hospitals, community partners, and stakeholders to help our beneficiaries:

  • Get enrolled in treatment programs
  • Navigate referrals and follow-up care
  • Access emergency support when necessary

At HCI, we are committed to making sure no child or young adult walks this journey alone.

Patient Support  At HCI, we recognize that patients undergoing treatment require both psychosocial support and assistance in accessing treatment. Psychosocial support is necessary because we understand that the cancer journey is both emotionally and mentally draining and needs both psychological and social care to ease it. Additionally, HCI partners with stakeholders to get the beneficiaries into treatment programmes.
